Another episode of rebels is on the horizon and this is is our official discussion topic.However I actually prefer Rebels. A major complaint I see is that Rebels isn't dark enough. But I don't see why things have to be darker for them to be better. While Rebels certainly isn't as moody as TCW, the tone is still very appropriate for Star Wars. The Disney association probably puts some off too.But seriously, even the original Star Wars movies have their moments of being childish. This is a franchise for all ages, and with that said, Rebels is a terrific, fun, and light-hearted show that has the excellent story-telling of the films condensed into 22 minute episodes. I'd definitely recommend it.
